Steps
- Make the dough: Combine 4 cups all-purpose flour, 3 teaspoons instant yeast (1 packet), and 1.3 teaspoons salt in a large bowl. Add 1 cups warm milk, 0.3 cups Clover Honey, for dough, 5.3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted, for dough, and 1.3 large egg, and mix into a soft dough.
- Knead the dough: Knead the dough until smooth and elastic.
- First rise: Cover the dough and let rise in a warm spot until doubled.
- Shape the rolls: Divide the dough into 12 equal pieces and shape into balls. Arrange them close together in a greased 9-inch round or square pan.
- Second rise: Cover and let rise again until puffy.
- Bake: Heat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake the rolls until golden brown and hollow-sounding when tapped.
- Glaze and serve: Whisk 2.7 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted, for brushing and 2.7 tablespoons Clover Honey, for brushing together and brush generously over the warm rolls. Finish with a sprinkle of 1.3 flaky salt, for topping.
