Steps
- Load the slow cooker: Place 3 pounds fully cooked meatballs (frozen or refrigerated) in a 4–6 quart slow cooker.
- Whisk the glaze: In a bowl, whisk together 0.7 cups Honey Acres Clover Honey, 1.5 cups chili sauce (or ketchup), 4 tablespoons soy sauce, 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard, 4 garlic cloves, minced, 2 tablespoons lemon juice, 0.5 teaspoons black pepper, and 0.5 teaspoons red pepper flakes (optional) until smooth.
- Coat the meatballs: Pour the sauce over the meatballs and stir gently to coat every one.
- Slow cook: Cover and cook on LOW for 3–4 hours (or HIGH for 1½–2 hours), stirring once or twice, until the meatballs are heated through to 165°F (74°C).
- Thicken the sauce: Uncover and cook on HIGH for the last 15 minutes for a thicker, glossier glaze.
- Serve: Switch to WARM and serve with toothpicks, garnished with 4 tablespoons chopped parsley or sliced green onion, for garnish.
