Lemonade!
As simple as it is every family seems to have their own recipe.
It goes something like this:
Lemons, Water, Some sort of Sweetener
Well over here in the Gabrielian Household, after 7 generations in the Honey Industry, its not hard to imagine what our choice of "Some sort of Sweetener" is.
We use nothing but the Best Honey From Wisconsin, usually our Clover Honey.
What you will need to make our delicious Honey Lemonade.
1 1/2 Cup Lemon Juice
1 Cup Honey - Since Honey Is sold by Weight this is 12oz of Honey
8 Cups Water
NOTE: This is a large batch so squeeze the lemons before anything else. If you have less lemon juice just adjust as you see fit.
MIXING TIPS: Honey does not dissolve easily in cold water, but it does dissolve a lot easier in lemon juice. Pour the lemon juice into your mixing container then pour the honey in start stirring. Next add a cup of water and keep stirring until the honey is completely dissolved, then add the remaining 7 cups of water!
Make sure you give it a taste as everyone likes different sweetness levels adjust with more honey to make sweeter or more water to make it less sweet.
Add ice, Enjoy!
You can spice it up by using different varietals of honey, Orange blossom is great and if you're feeling adventurous try the Buckwheat! Both will impart unique flavors onto the lemonade.
Until Next Time!
